Counterpoint V7 continues to be the most reliable, bug-free software package in existence. None of the Windows SQL packages that they sell as an "upgrade" has the features or power of CP V7, and they are all much more expensive to support. And running Counterpoint on the COLO has proven to be the most reliable way to run the software.

We are always looking for ways to improve your COLO experience. While we were testing out Windows 8, and the ability to run CP on tablets, we discovered a fantastic package that we know you're going to absolutely LOVE!

The biggest complaint we get about Counterpoint is the "Display on Screen". It is a MAJOR pain to view a 132 column report, and having to hit F2 to go back and forth. Most people just print reports to paper to avoid this problem. Well, F2 no more.

We used AlphaCom software because it was inexpensive, reliable, and easy to use. A replacement program by Ansio does everything Alphacom did, with the addition of a PDF print option. By simply printing reports to REPORTS - PDF, the report is sent to your workstation where it is converted to a full screen PDF. Click on Reports - PDF below to see what you'll get:

Instead of the COLO handling the printing, Windows and Adobe take over. With the FREE version of Adobe, you can:

Print to any Windows printer on your particular workstation
Save the file as a PDF
Email the PDF
Fax the PDF
Search the PDF
Highlight areas of the PDF
Zoom for easier reading
Sign or add Text to PDF
Send the PDF for signature
Add sticky notes to PDF
Convert to Word
Convert to Excel
Run on Win8 Tablet

With this one piece of software, the Linux version of Counterpoint gets the look and feel of Windows software.

The first customer we showed Ansio to, ordered it for every employee who uses reports or prints and/or sends PO's, Quotes, Orders, and other Forms.

If you'd like to try out Ansio, simply email us (bill@lecolo.com) with your Linux Userid, and we'll get you setup with a trial. To look up your userid in Alphacom. Bring up Counterpoint, and click Configure and scroll down to Login.

The cost of Ansio is $150 per computer. We'd like to get an idea of how many people are interested, so we can do a bulk purchase to reduce that cost.

We've been doing Counterpoint V7 for 15 years, and we feel that we've hit this one out of the ball park - it's that good. Try it and we know you'll agree.
