PRINTING REPORTS IN PDF FORMAT

The advantages of doing Reports as PDF's are that they load into Adobe.

Viewable in Full-Page mode,
Reports are Searchable
Any printer Adobe can print to will work, i.e, your home printer
The Print Job can be discarded, or saved to the local disk
will work with the fax or email program you are used to.

The only disadvantage is that you can only do one Report or Purchase Order at a time, because we create a file called RPT.PDF (PO.PDF for PO's), and you have to hit F5 to refresh the ftp site.

PRINTING REPORTS AS A .PDF

Are you tired of viewing reports and having to hit F2 to go back and forth? Now, you can print the report to a PDF file and view it in Adobe. You can view it in full screen and it’s searchable.

1.) When you run your report, choose the printer called REPORTS – PDF. Counterpoint® will create a .pdf file called RPT.PDF (no, we can’t change the name) on your ftp site.

2.) Log in to your ftp site ftp://lecolo.com, or if you are already logged on, hit F5 to refresh. You’ll see the file RPT.PDF with an Adobe icon.

3.) Click on the RPT.PDF icon, or drag it to your Desktop and click on it.

4.) The Report will open. At that point, you can do anything Adobe will permit.

This will work at the store, home, or on the road.
